RowdyLink Event Attendance Tracking and Reporting
Join the RowdyLink Administrator for training focused on event attendance
tracking and reporting in RowdyLink. This session will provide a hands-on
walkthrough of event check-in tools, including offline check-ins and manual
data uploads. Participants will also learn how to generate and interpret
event-specific reports to assess engagement and attendance.

Floor Captain Safety Liaison Training
The
floor Captain plays a critical role in emergency preparedness, safety
awareness, and crime prevention techniques throughout the university.
Floor Captains focus on safety and security initiatives while providing
guidance and direction to building occupants. During emergency activations,
Floor Captains assist with required evacuations/re-entry, shelter in place,
interface with Police and first responders and help those who may require
assistance via Evac-Chair. The course utilizes a mixture of presentations,
activities, and hands on training specifically designed to prepare participants
to quickly, and safely assist others when emergencies occur.

Note: This is a refresher course for Floor Captains. The prerequisite for this course is EP0485.

Conflict Resolution and De-escalation
Course Description:
What happens when our
best efforts at producing civil dialogue turn, well, uncivil? In this
interactive and experiential session, we'll examine some of the most
challenging aspects of managing, mitigating, resolving, and even preventing
conflict from creating havoc, and we'll practice some de-escalation strategies.
Come prepared to work and learn from each other and workshop facilitator Dr.
Larry Schooler, a mediator and facilitator who teaches in the Moody School
of Communication at UT Austin. Lunch will be provided.

Employee Anti-Discrimination Training FY25-26
Preventing Harassment and Discrimination: Non-Supervisors prepares learners to cultivate and maintain a workplace culture resistant to discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Employees will be equipped with the information and skills that promote intervention, empathy, and allyship.

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED (formerly CPR/First Aid)
This is an American
Heart Association Course - Heart Saver First Aid with CPR & AED. The
Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the
first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Course
content includes General Principles of First Aid, Medical and Injury
Emergencies. CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies are also included in
the course. Upon successful completion of this course, participants receive a
course completion card valid for two years. Please wear loose, comfortable
clothing. Skills practice requires working on your hands and knees, bending,
standing, and lifting. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent
these activities, please let instructor know prior to the start of class.
Instructor may be able to adjust the equipment for back, knee, or hip problems.
Also, please let instructor know if you are allergic to latex.
Research Recovery Training: Returning to Campus During COVID 19
Course Description:
UTSA researchers may return to campus to resume research operations that cannot be completed remotely. COVID-19 pandemic requires additional protective measures to ensure the health and safety of the Roadrunner and local community. This training provides researchers with an understanding of those measures and the resources available to support those efforts.

Trauma Informed Care 101
Trauma Informed Care 101 is an introductory course to cover foundational concepts of this evidence based practice, and 5 guiding principles you can apply in your roles as faculty/staff at UTSA. By developing your roles under a trauma informed lens, you have the opportunity to improve the student experience for those who have experienced traumatic events prior to or during their pursuit of higher education. By taking this training, you will receive an invitation to join the Foster Care Champions Council, where you will receive continued professional development opportunities around trauma informed care and engagement opportunities with students served by the Fostering Educational Success Center.

Corporate Cup 2026
UTSA Wellness is excited to announce the return of Team UTSA to the 2025 San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup! This annual event is an excellent opportunity for the university to engage with the community and support San Antonio youth through fun competitions including relay races, a 5K, cornhole, basketball tournaments and more.
