Go Blue for Men's Health Walk
Join UTSA Wellness as we recognize Men’s Health Awareness Month by participating in the Go Blue for Men’s Health Walk. This event encourages faculty and staff to take a step toward better health while raising awareness about the importance of preventive care, regular checkups, physical activity, and mental wellbeing for men.
Participants are invited to walk together in support of men’s health and connect with campus wellness resources. Attendees can also enjoy FREE paletas (PM session), UTSA Wellness t-shirts, snacks, and wellness giveaways while supplies last!

Roadrunners Kick Butts Clean Up Walk (In-person)
Join us for Roadrunner Kick Butts 2025 A campus-wide clean-up walk that unites employees around a single cause: removing tobacco litter from our grounds. Together, we’ll promote environmental awareness, contribute to a cleaner campus, and take pride in preserving the natural beauty of UTSA. Additionally, we will have swag and our annual Wellness shirts available!
Therapy Dogs
Take a well-deserved wellness break and stop by to visit our friendly therapy dogs! Faculty and staff are invited to sign up for a relaxation session to de-stress, recharge, and enjoy some time with these certified comfort companions.
Spending just a few minutes with therapy animals can help reduce stress, boost mood, and support overall well-being—making this the perfect midday reset during your workday.

Mindset Monday - Summer
Build a stronger, more resilient mindset this summer with our Mindset Monday Workshop Series.
This 3-part series is designed to help employees develop practical mental strategies to navigate challenges, improve performance, and enhance overall well-being—both at work and beyond.
Each 15-minute session focuses on a powerful mindset shift that can be immediately applied in your daily routine:
- Fixed vs. Growth Mindset (Core Foundation): Learn how your beliefs about your abilities influence your success, and how to shift toward a growth-oriented way of thinking.
- Redefining Failure: Discover how to reframe setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth, reducing fear and building resilience.
- The Inner Voice: Your Mindset in Action: Explore how your self-talk impacts your confidence and performance, and gain tools to create more positive, productive inner dialogue.
Participants will leave each session with simple, actionable tools they can apply right away to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and support a healthier mindset.
Whether you're looking to grow professionally, manage stress more effectively, or simply think differently about challenges, this summer series will equip you with the mindset tools to move forward with purpose.

2/5/2025 - Health at Your Desk - Move beyond good posture to prevent pain.
- Is too much sitting contributing to your chronic aches and pains? Spending hours at a desk can lead to pain throughout the upper body and lower back. Proper posture is essential, but it’s only the first step towards improving back and neck health. Join us for an interactive workshop to learn simple techniques for reducing strain, improving range of motion, and increasing strength. We’ll also provide a conservative care option to help stop pain at the source.

3/20/2025 - Lacrosse Ball- Complimentary Lunch N Learn plus Injury Assessments.
- Ever felt like you just need to work out some knots? Discomfort in your body can be a real pain. Even the most basic daily routines can become a burden because of common back, neck, and other musculoskeletal injuries. Join Airrosti for a complimentary and interactive session from 11:00-12:00 PM to learn about the benefits of utilizing a lacrosse ball to help relieve common types of soft tissue pain. Followed by 15-minute complimentary injury assessments. Time slots for injury assessments are from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM. FREE lunch will be provided for all participants.

- Spending two-thirds of our day with our necks angled downward while working on our computers or texting on our phones can lead to chronic pain and even result in more serious, long-term injuries. Join Airrosti for an educational session to learn how to prevent and relieve the pain associated with repetitive neck stress. Please note additional requirements to register.

UTSA Financial Foundations Fair
Description: What does it mean to financially “viva well?”
Financial wellness is about achieving a state of wellbeing where you live within your means, feel confident in your future, and prepare for the unexpected. This year’s Fair will help you get organized and make informed financial decisions to create a more secure tomorrow. Seminars will be offered throughout the day and are free to attend. Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED (formerly CPR/First Aid)
This is an American
Heart Association Course - Heart Saver First Aid with CPR & AED. The
Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the
first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Course
content includes General Principles of First Aid, Medical and Injury
Emergencies. CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies are also included in
the course. Upon successful completion of this course, participants receive a
course completion card valid for two years. Please wear loose, comfortable
clothing. Skills practice requires working on your hands and knees, bending,
standing, and lifting. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent
these activities, please let instructor know prior to the start of class.
Instructor may be able to adjust the equipment for back, knee, or hip problems.
Also, please let instructor know if you are allergic to latex.
