Join the RowdyLink Administrator for training focused on event attendance tracking and reporting in RowdyLink. This session will provide a hands-on walkthrough of event check-in tools, including offline check-ins and manual data uploads. Participants will also learn how to generate and interpret event-specific reports to assess engagement and attendance.

This course is to be taken after successfully completing RowdyLink 101.

Course Description: An in-depth look at RowdyLink navigation and functionality while covering crucial information for navigating RowdyLink. In this course, experts will provide a detailed walk-through of notification settings, event RSVPs, post-event questions, and more. Join us as we reveal tips to navigate RowdyLink and its data assessment tools!

Course Objectives: 

• Event planners will receive information on managing their rosters and roster tools
• Event planners will receive details on event RSVP settings, managing RSVPs, and post-event questions
• Event planner will learn how to use event check-in and track attendance/assessment questions
• Facilitators will allow time for Q & A

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn from each other's experiences, discuss ethical practices, and explore innovative applications of GenAI across various disciplines. The emphasis on student engagement, learning outcomes, and professional learning highlights the commitment to not just keeping pace with technological advancements, but also leading the charge in shaping the future of education.

This shared GenAI in Education Community of Practice event is driven by the importance of collaborative, global efforts in maximizing the benefits of GenAI, fostering a community that's dedicated to enhancing digital literacy and preparing students for a rapidly evolving digital world.

Course Description: Learn how to bring your existing Word documents up to accessibility standards! This session will guide you through fixing common accessibility issues, like improper heading structures, missing alt text, and inadequate color contrast. Gain the skills to transform your pre-made files into user-friendly documents for all audiences.

This important workshop takes a practical look at the causes of burnout and provides several life management strategies that can help individuals to improve their health, regain motivation,

and increase life satisfaction. Strategies include building resilience, time and stress management, and identifying and pursuing our life's purpose.

Strain from repetitive activities at home, on the computer and at work can cause physical pain, including headaches, back aches, hip pain and sore wrists. Learn how to identify early signs of strain, discomfort or pain and how to take immediate action.

The floor Captain plays a critical role in emergency preparedness, safety awareness, and crime prevention techniques throughout the university.  Floor Captains focus on safety and security initiatives while providing guidance and direction to building occupants. During emergency activations, Floor Captains assist with required evacuations/re-entry, shelter in place, interface with Police and first responders and help those who may require assistance via Evac-Chair. The course utilizes a mixture of presentations, activities, and hands on training specifically designed to prepare participants to quickly, and safely assist others when emergencies occur. 

Note:  This is a refresher course for Floor Captains.  The prerequisite for this course is EP0485.

Course Description: What happens when our best efforts at producing civil dialogue turn, well, uncivil? In this interactive and experiential session, we'll examine some of the most challenging aspects of managing, mitigating, resolving, and even preventing conflict from creating havoc, and we'll practice some de-escalation strategies. Come prepared to work and learn from each other and workshop facilitator Dr. Larry Schooler, a mediator and facilitator who teaches in the Moody School of Communication at UT Austin. Lunch will be provided.
